That was made for helping people for disabilities. But it is weird that they didn't add dark mode with that cuz it would help as well.

Yeah, some people probably also have gotten eye disabilities from the light mode. And Scratch dark mode would be great because what if you were using your PC at night?

I think there's an extension where you can customize Scratch like block color, layout, emojis, comments, profiles, and also web browser color. It's completely free in the Google Web Store.

its not allowed in most schools (kindly do not name extenstion, just in case).
though im allowed to use it, i just dont trust extensions.

we need it in vanilla scratch

Anyway, I support this suggestion because it would help people who are sensitive to high brightness + you can easily work in the dark.

Re-add? Since when did dark mode exist? If your talking about Scratch 1.x when the editor was grey, that's kind of a dark mode, yeah, but also a mix of light mode.

Pretty sure there have been signs of a dark theme being worked on, but that was around 1.5 years ago, so take this with a grain of salt.

Since the text in Scratch 1 was black I'd say it was a light colour scheme.
