The most popular types of projects on scratch are generic platformers and sprunki (unfortunately)

About 2 years ago I collected project stats from the most followed users on Scratch.

I think Tableau lets you download the data too if you want to further process it or view it in something else.

From my understanding, games perform best overall, especially those related to an already popular subject (such as Minecraft, Geometry Dash, Roblox). The absolute measures of views, loves, etc. are highest for them.
Animations and art perform well too when measured by the love/view ratio or the number of followers they bring.

I'm talking about the most popular projects people make

probably games and animations.
