Yeah, it's annoying. Also, necroposting is non-existent on the suggestions forums.

I support this, why is the low contrast a option but not blue?

They can still change the site's theme, but it won't save. Every time you close and open a new Scratch tab, the theme resets back to the default.
It could be saved with cookies.

I think it should be green(not light due to dyslexic people)

A dark yet beautiful and nice shade of green could be Forest Green. It has deep, rich tones that evoke the feeling of a dense forest, and it’s elegant and soothing without being overwhelming. Another great choice could be Emerald Green, which is still dark but with a vibrant, almost jewel-like quality. It gives off a luxurious, natural vibe while remaining calming and deep. These shades strike a balance between richness and beauty.
This is a block for you to look at for its colour-think about it a bit more dark, though. What do you think?

I reccomend searching up Forest Green and Emerald Green on the internet first though.I'm not also sure that Scratch will accept blue because they changed the theme of.Also,we might have another option for turqouise.
I think it would make sense to just be the 2.0 colors, as it looks blue to people with protanopia, deuteranopia, and tritanopia.

Also, if the suggestion was intended to be closed (ex. suggestions that are in the current version of Scratch or have been rejected), but aren't for any reason.

To be honest, a wide list of accents with Scratch 3.0 and 2.0 block colours, along with other suggested colours would actually be great. What about a rainbow one as well? I mean, TurboWarp has a rainbow one.

Also, accent colours along with a dark mode and dark-colour blocks would be great, I hope Scratch adds them. But I am thinking about making a Scratch mod, though I'm no expert at web developing. (The dark mode and dark-colour blocks are for another day and could be discussed on another topic though)

2.0 block colors were also pretty accessible for tritanopia it looked like (I tried multiple different types of simulations), and I feel like it would be so much better if we had presets for colorblindness instead and one default option too, alongside being able to choose whatever. The high contrast blocks do not help much with colorblindness due to the colors being pastel (once again, used multiple simulations), and there are different types of colorblindness
Many of the people on these topics seem to misunderstand colorblindness lol

Yeah, what about a grey accent colour? It would go along with grey blocks but to many it's boring, but would have been made for colourblind people.

Can we choose what color we want for the UI in the future. The purple's fine but it doesn't fit in with the project loading screen and other stuff
(didn't realize that's what this discussion is about)

Yeah, maybe a protanopia-friendly, tritanopia-friendly and deuteranopia-friendly options of accent colours (asides from the 3.0 and 2.0 blocks accent colour options) would be better. What about folders (or libraries) to organise them?

Guys,if we arre going to have dark writing for people who can't read properally see, shouldn't we stick with a range of light options for colours too?
(Just for the people who are thinking about dark options)
when green flag clicked
ask [What colo(u)r do you want?] and wait
wait until <An option is chosen for the light colour options.>

What do you guys think?

What if there were themes like a ocean, forest, desert themes and then colors to pick maybe scratchers could maybe make their backgrounds
Tell me if my idea would be good?

Or, at the very least, these could be presets, with a hex picker or CSB sliders for custom colors.
(::motion)(::looks)(::sounds)(::events)(::control)(::sensing)(::operators)(::variables)(::list)(::extension)(custom::#aae33d)::grey
support towards the use of colours of blocks, very applicable to scratch
