So it doesnt go to trending in the first place and is harder to find in general.

If there was an influx of inappropriate projects with the listed franchises, should they also be blanket banned(not Blanket NFEd), and potentially harm the CG-abiding fans of these franchises?

I have a friend that's into Madness Combat, Decaying Winter, Happy Tree Friends, AND Sprunki(His name even alludes to the first franchise I mentioned), and he typically abides by the CGs. Blanket banning these franchises could get him swept into the same boat as the CG-breaking fans of these properties, and that wouldn't be fair for him(and considering his username, he could potentially lose his account, period)

I have seen a lot of popular and inappropriate Sprunki projects. I haven't seen any related to any of the other franchises that you have mentioned. Upon checking online, a couple of these franchises are rated 18+ at least in my country meaning they're already unsuitable for Scratch. As for the others, I suppose it's the same case as any other franchise, in the sense that it'd be alright as long as the projects are appropriate. I don't think OP was suggesting tto remove every Sprunki project either, just to censor the name in search/trending so inappropriate projects are less likely to be seen by others.

yeah unfortunately sprunki is often content farmed, and I'm mostly less interested in the horror part of sprunki

Support, I'm starting to get sick of seeing inappropriate sprunki projects on trending every day and sprunki in general

Sprunki's getting out of hand…

I seriously hope they at least treat Sprunki like FNAF. A project won't be taken for merely featuring the characters, but if it dabbles into the darker aspects, that's when it'll be dealt with.

If the Scratch Team ABSOLUTELY has to blanket ban all Sprunki projects, I would at least appreciate an Announcement over it.

So I can prepare myself, and notify my friends to unshare their Sprunki projects, and reupload them elsewhere.

what I mean by the NFE is just make it so they can't appear in search or trending if your project contains the phrase “sprunki” or some of it's similar phrases.

you guys should see some of the sprunki content on yt. its horrible what they're marketing to young children using popular topics. the horror and scary stuff I couldn't care less about, probably because I grew up around it, but some of the stuff on yt is borderline 18+. my siblings are pretty much freely allowed to roam yt, and sometimes I wonder what they are seeing that I don't know about.

agreed. The parts that bleed into Scratch are not good, especially when the youtube is taken into account. Kids don't need to see it.

well, then it would be really nice if they were to get to that. Sprunki keeps hitting trending. there is one up that hasnt gotten banned yet.

After seeing just how easily Sprunki projects have climbed to the top of trending, I've realized that this suggestion should definitely be implemented.
