Has Scratch ever had a DDoS attack

A ddos attack is when bad people overload a server with bots, usually with malicious intents, so did Scratch had a DDoS attack?

Here is the definition of a DoS/DDoS attack:

Wikipedia wrote:

In computing, a denial-of-service attack (DoS attack) is a cyber-attack in which the perpetrator seeks to make a machine or network resource unavailable to its intended users by temporarily or indefinitely disrupting services of a host connected to a network. Denial of service is typically accomplished by flooding the targeted machine or resource with superfluous requests in an attempt to overload systems and prevent some or all legitimate requests from being fulfilled.
-Snip-
In a distributed denial-of-service attack (DDoS attack), the incoming traffic flooding the victim originates from many different sources.

Has Scratch ever had a DDoS attack

I think that recently there was a DDoS attack in late 2024 where someone made loads of accounts at a fairly short period of time, thus slowing down some functions of the website and more.

No, I don't think that's the cause. The website got slowed down significantly because of the “DDoS attack” while the cloud variables being down only has a minor cause to slowing down the website, if at all.
