Most scratch pages (3.0 and 2.0 ones) have this footer if you scroll down. However, most people never really look at it much and use it. In my opinion, this is mostly because it is not short and compact and maybe expands if you further select on a thing but because it rather throws a bunch of links on you without making it really much easier to navigate.

In my opinion the footer should be shortened with maybe drop downs that give you more detailed links and bold links that show the most important parts like the community guidelines.

I use it often to go to the forums. I think it looks fine, and it functions as a footer should.

Tbh I usually type the url or go via the front page. Also, I still think it is not as good as it should be and you should maybe shorten it with drop downs or so and make those links like community guidelines which are the most important bold.

how do you go by the front page without the footer?

Why make it short and compact there is literally nothing you can compact without making it look bad or unusuable. And it's a footer, if you're using it it's probably going to be on your screen for like 5 seconds at most before you click off

Exactly! The other options are often too much and maybe there should just be a legal page where then all the links are listed. Also if you really have to put so many, at least highlicht stuff like the community guidelines.
