Minecraft has an amazing ost, but in my opinion it's pretty overrated

Celeste, Persona 5, Undertale, and Mario Galaxy have some of my favorite video game soundtracks.
I also adore Fire Emblem Three Houses', as well as many other games in the series', for their use of operatic and specifically Wagnerian conventions in both composition and structure. You can tell that the composers and writers know their stuff about opera and traditional storytelling, very period appropriate and it makes for an incredible, epic experience.
I could say something similar about the Undertale soundtrack, though that more so reflects musical theatre of the 80's and 90's. Daily nugget of weird knowledge: Toby Fox was a theatre kid. It seems like it doesn't make sense, but when you think about it, it really does.

Does Geometry Dash count? Although there really isn't one definite OST as it uses the grounds that are new for custom songs.

I mean, the OST in this case wouldnt be that site, but rather just the songs that are built in (Stereo madness, back on track, etc.) “The site” only lets you add songs to the game that arent already in there.

Also on the topic of awesome video game music mandatory Touhou mention even tho people already said that like 10 years ago on this thread. How Zun does art, programming and music all by himself i dont know.

Also also Tim Follin is one of the best game music composers. Seriously, check his work out.

acnl 1am sounds really fitting for a song playing at 1am imo

“Empowering Yourself” from the Dying Light 2 soundtrack by Oliver Deriviere is such a motivating track. The mission the song is featured in makes the experience so much better
