I’m just glad I can watch the US intro on YT. I listened to the Japanese intro and, imo, the intro is the only part where the US version is better than the Japanese version. It’s a catchy song and all, but Gotta Go Fast does a much better job at getting you excited to watch the show. It just works better as a theme song imo.

Meh. The “worst” part (Sonic saying the bad word version of crap) is something that, knowing the internet these days, 12-year-olds would've most likely been exposed to via youtubers like Pewds and Markiplier. At least, that was the case for me.

From what I’ve seen so far, there’s nothing too bad. I’d say the only anime I’ve watched that is tamer is Little Witch Academia (I’m not counting Pokémon because some of those banned episodes are actually wilding). What I focus on is how good the story is, and the story is really good so far. Sonic X is a good Sonic anime with a horrible localization.

Yea I feel like a lot of anime (even targeted at kids) has some kind of raunchiness in it (honestly that’s common in the west too) then again I might not be the best judge cuz I don’t really watch anime, the only one I care about is Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura & Madoka Magica to a lesser extent, but I only saw a few episodes of those & im working on finishing sailor moon rn, also a lot of couples in cardcaptor sakura are teacher/student and/or adult/minor so that kinda deterred & repulsed me from continuing it even tho it was a cute show otherwise, Sailor Moon & Tuxedo Mask’s age gap is already weird enough to me lmao…why am I venting abt magical girl anime on the Sonic forum lol

Edit: I looked at the reviewer's Xbox achievements for the game and he didn't get past Empire City, so he didn't even finish the game

Total disagree. I absolutely hate Gotta Go Fast. 90% of the song is repeating the same line over and over again. Sonic Drive is infinitely better.

After watching a few episodes, I take back what I said. It just took me a bit to get used to it. I prefer Sonic Drive over Gotta Go Fast.

I personally love Sonic’s characterization in the Japanese version of Sonic X. Just watch episode 5’s bickering between Sonic and Knuckles. He’s snarky, but not in the “Baldy McNosehair” type of way. The only way I can describe it is that he just isn’t annoying to the audience when he is being annoying to other characters.
