I’m just asking, because what if they say something about Scratch that I deem needs to be posted here with the appropriate context?

Not if the platform is identified - if I can figure out that it’s Google Docs, then it should not be shared.

The idea is that all identifiable information (for you and other users) is blacked out.

But if the platform is identifiable, it could get other users to think it’s okay to go on that platform (it’s not okay for younger users to use these types of websites).

If we reply to every single post with “Use Contact Us”, the forums become functionally useless - if you don’t know the answer, please don’t reply as it is considered spam.

I can't think of any scenarios where that would be a good idea. If nothing else, it is going to generate interest in sites that may not be appropriate for all Scratchers, encouraging exploration. And removing any identifying information is not going to stop the questions and the detectives from figuring it out.
