The existence of Christmas in Deltarune implies that, long before the events of the game, things like the nativity, the crucifixion, the resurrection, and pretty much every single story beat of the story of Christ had to have happened.
And, don't worry, I'm not dumb. I understand Christmas's TRUE roots. So, as such, I can already hear some nay-sayers nay-saying: “But Sylver! Christmas existed long before Christianity's influence!” And to that I say, correct! Which still gives my little over-thinking-piece credence!
The original traditions of Christmas, before it was touched by Christian influence, were… muddy, to put it lightly. I don't remember the specifics, but you can study that on your own time if you're interested.
It wasn't necessarily until a little after the Pope declared it a Christian holiday that it started to cool down.
I haven't seen the Holiday family going door-to-door, and basically stealing, so that must mean some sort of religion got to the holiday before the game.

that seems like a good idea. there is already a topic there for Deltarune, maybe this one can be renamed Undertale and be like a companion topic to that one. I'm already (usually) following both discussions, so I figure at least one other person here is, too.

oh, and one more thing.
I understand this community is for ages 8 and up. that doesn't mean that people should be silenced ad nauseam for being ever-so-slightly rude to another person, especially not when the rude one feels that they or someone else is being attacked.
as someone who's been dealing with ever-so-slightly to extremely rude and toxic people since she was eight, I have a small feeling that the younger people on this website won't suddenly combust into tears seeing someone with an angry manner of speaking, or seeing an @ next to two $s.

That being said, I'll still do my best, moving forward, to be more respectful and less rude on my posts here. It was unnecessary of me to act that way earlier.

only issue is that its the people in the discuss that are off-topic not nivalosha themselves, moving this wouldnt really make any sense considering we get updates about the engine and nivalosha doesnt go off-topic.

Undertale Battle Engine forum showcases various engines as tools for users to build their Undertale games on Scratch, they are already out and are used. This also shows why the main page of this forum showcases engines and games powered by these engines. As said by Voxalice, the new project (MurderDrones) is being developed on top of these engines, the goal is to show how developers can use these engines to make their games neat.
New games are built using these engines, while the engines are updated and improved over the months.

The Undertale topic under “Things I'm Reading and Playing” focuses mainly on the game, while here, I heavily focus on showcasing games and engines that are powered by these engines. Several people are using these engines to make their games, as they see the engine's abilities. I'm grateful for the community that pushed me to improve my skills throughout these long months, primarily because they wanted to see more from these engines.

I'd assume you're more of a new user of this forum, there were several incidents when I and others asked spammers to stop mass-spamming, I may or may not request to move this forum to another section (more code-based than showcasing),
