Dude, Spongy is an absolutely GOATed character. Everyone kills him, smell/fat shames him, abuses him, injures him, and when he retaliates, suddenly he's the villain.

Spongy was electrocuted by Iance, chopped up into tiny pieces from the TLC blades, had a freaking game of hate made out of him, was thrown overboard, used as a boat, was eliminated 5 different times, was called fat, smelly, and gross, and then he doesn't share a plane that was already full and now he's the main antagonist of BFDI.
