I understand that the wait for the engine is really long, primarily due to all of the script experiments, so I tend to update the two main engines and code side battles (Mettaton & MurderDrones).

The current project (Murder Drone) will put several things to the test: UI layout, skeleton animation system, and new combat system. As previously stated, I'm very open to any ideas and suggestions, including attack ideas, and features (for me to experiment). Since this post is about recording Undertale Battle Engine progress, listing things and features you'll want to see within your game will be useful. That also includes Overworld, not trying to force people to solely talk about Undertale mechanics.
New Deltarune chapters are right around the corner, their new mechanics may or may not influence the course of the engine as well, which can also put into question wether such mechanics should be added,

I understand that the wait for the engine is really long, primarily due to all of the script experiments, so I tend to update the two main engines and code side battles (Mettaton & MurderDrones).

The current project (Murder Drone) will put several things to the test: UI layout, skeleton animation system, and new combat system. As previously stated, I'm very open to any ideas and suggestions, including attack ideas, and features (for me to experiment). Since this post is about recording Undertale Battle Engine progress, listing things and features you'll want to see within your game will be useful. That also includes Overworld, not trying to force people to solely talk about Undertale mechanics.
New Deltarune chapters are right around the corner, their new mechanics may or may not influence the course of the engine as well, which can also put into question wether such mechanics should be added,

The existence of Christmas in Deltarune implies that, long before the events of the game, things like the nativity, the crucifixion, the resurrection, and pretty much every single story beat of the story of Christ had to have happened.
And, don't worry, I'm not dumb. I understand Christmas's TRUE roots. So, as such, I can already hear some nay-sayers nay-saying: “But Sylver! Christmas existed long before Christianity's influence!” And to that I say, correct! Which still gives my little over-thinking-piece credence!
The original traditions of Christmas, before it was touched by Christian influence, were… muddy, to put it lightly. I don't remember the specifics, but you can study that on your own time if you're interested.
It wasn't necessarily until a little after the Pope declared it a Christian holiday that it started to cool down.
I haven't seen the Holiday family going door-to-door, and basically stealing, so that must mean some sort of religion got to the holiday before the game.
