is sprunki getting completely banned from scratch?

“In the position” gives me the idea that they can ban Sprunki at this point of time because of the innapropriate projects. It says that they can easily decide right now to ban Sprunki, but doesn't give any information if they will ban Sprunki.

yeah and it's a good thing, since you cant go anywhere without seeing some weird sprunki project. even youtube got plagued with cursed content farms and heavily inappropriate music videos.

wait does that mean I have to remove my sprunki oc and replace it with something else? i dont wanna remake all my projects that has my sprunki oc in it

I never said Sprunki will be banned, I just said that they have the ability to do so.

So, we don't know, but ST is in the process of discussing and deciding it.

The whole Sprunki situation feels an awful lot like the FNAF fiasco. The ST will probably just do a search ban on Sprunki, but I could be wrong.

No. Sprunki is not franchise banned, as normally a franchise ban will only happen if many inappropriate projects have been made with the franchise and any conversation about the franchise is likely to lead to something inappropriate. Although there are inappropriate Sprunki projects, it's not enough to cause a franchise ban. In the meantime, continue to report inappropriate content on Scratch.

I don’t believe it is, but “in the position of” means that they could at any time, and are at the point where they could.

i might have understood the post wrong but what i think cheddargirl meant was that if people keep on posting inappropriate sprunki projects, they can (and probably will) ban sprunki from scratch
i hope they do tho cuz im tired of seeing it

Sprunki may get banned off Scratch because the inappropriate projects some people make, according to cheddargirl's post. Altough I might've misunderstood it & thus I may be completely wrong.

fr tho, this feels like the fnaf situation, so the ST could just pull a fnaf on sprunki.
however, there are more inappropriate sprunki projects than i think were fnaf projects back then (mainly due to scratch's userbase is much bigger than it was during the FNAF-Scratchtopian War), so that's further incentive to ban sprunki - too many inappropriate projects.

Some of the inappropriate projects even made it to the explore page which is disastrous
