Don't want to get my hopes up, but maybe, just maybe, “MIT Accessibility” sounds like they'll have a feature to switch between purple and blue.

Scratch's GitHub repositories tend to be updated a few days or weeks before the website actually is, and it is possible to build and run a local copy of everything there, so one can preview updates before they come out.
