Hello! I am working on a casino game in scratch, and currently I have Blackjack, and Texas Hold'em (an adaption so it would be two player) added!

I am planning on adding a roulette wheel, and slot machines, but any ideas for what else to add would be appreciated!

And to rake in nostalgia, the background music is Luigi's Casino from Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros.

I refuse to make Russian Roulette.

it teaches kids to risk their life for money, and is not worth it. plus, it isn't as fun as the roulette wheel you would find in a casino.

(and also kid-friendly russian roulette is pretty much the same as normal gambling anyway)

so i guess kid friendly buckshot roulette (different rules n' stuff) would be better

unless you don't want those games at all or anything, but i made a remix of a russian roulette game recently that replaces BULLETS with cookies.

its just the idea of it. Scratch is a site targeted towards kids and letting them know about a game as violent as such could lead to bad behaviours when growing up. I would know as I have seen it happen, but roulette wheel would be just fine. its actually coming together quite well!

not a bad idea, might make that after slot machines

roulette with all the UI and everything else (and I changed the wheel to look more wooden)

make a mechanic were you can stop gambling and go back to your wife and kids (and maybe a different response depending on how much money you have)

I have a mechanic where when you run out of money you can go to the bank and get a loan. But then you are in debt and can't buy anything from the shop until you are out of debt

If you're pretty decent at coding, I may suggest poker. I don't know any other kinds of casino games, at least none that you already have.

Not a casino game idea, but just an idea in general, maybe you could add a neat function to kinda change the background or theme? That might be kinda neat ^^

they made osu in scratch, so i think thats decent enough to make poker

poker is already there! poker is actually a genre of games, so I added the most common; Texas Hold'em AKA 2 card AKA 2 card draw.
you may recognize 5 card draw, Omaha, 3 card draw, or some other variant, but this one is most common and is used in poker tournaments, so that's what I went with.

For custom backgrounds, you can use chips to get different card Table felts, different card backs, different chip faces, and you can buy lottery tickets.
