What counts as an exact copy?
There is this person copying projects (again) and he changes one little bit that he doesn't credit (like music) and then passes the project off as his own. Does that count as “exact copy”?

Unfortunately, no, as that's a “meaningful change”.
However, if they don't credit the song, you could probably report them for that.

Technically, no, as there's the remix watermark above the instructions.(#2)if he passes the project off as his own then that's also breaking the credit rule and is reportable!

here's the run down. they must do all of these:
- credit you somehow (remix autocredit counts)
- make a change that is readily noticeable while playing the project
- don't intend to be disrespectful to you in their use

What counts as an exact copy?
What if a single variable was changed, and it affects the project a lot, but the code or costumes isn't changed at all? Like when you progress through a game, save it to your computer, now the starting variable is different.

If at least one noticeable change that affects how the project runs is made, it isn't considered an exact copy. What if a single variable was changed, and it affects the project a lot, but the code or costumes isn't changed at all? Like when you progress through a game, save it to your computer, now the starting variable is different.
It is notable, however, if a user uploads a remix that removes all references to the original creator of the project, that doesn't count.

Yes, but instead of pressing the remix button, he just downloads it and uploads it. so an example of this would be he remixes appel, changes the bg music, then says that its tottaly his?

(#10)In that case, since his projects don't give any credit to the originals, you should report his projects.Yes, but instead of pressing the remix button, he just downloads it and uploads it. so an example of this would be he remixes appel, changes the bg music, then says that its tottaly his?
Technically, his projects wouldn't be exact copies, but they would be uncredited copies of other people's projects, which isn't allowed on Scratch.

You can always download a project and reupload it, but that's a different story…Technically, no, as there's the remix watermark above the instructions.(#2)if he passes the project off as his own then that's also breaking the credit rule and is reportable!

changes one little bit that he doesn't credit (like music) and then passes the project off as his own. Does that count as “exact copy”?I should also mention that regardless of whether or not the project appears as a remix, the user should give credit to whoever originally made the music that was changed. If they don't, you can report it as uncredited material. There is this person copying projects (again) and he
