if you want a lot of software then probably 64g or 128g but if you just want homebrew or emulators then 32g or 16g is probably enough

i want a 128GB SD card but does that work on an og 3DS? it says it's not considered compatible

Just bring it to a repair shop, if you have the money, they will, and i can guarantee, fix it in half a hour. Bring it there, enjoy the surroundings of the shop for a bit, pay and get your console back, and it's as good as new.

If you get a “Sorry, we can't fix it”, at least buy a new motherboard (Buttons/Touchscreen) because the rest can be still used.

I'm a bit dense regarding mods, but I managed to do it. There's one part where you need to time a button press but if you fail you can just try again.

Hey guys. I need help with my 3DS. My outer cameras only work in certain games. Mii Maker, Amiibo Camera (ACNL) and pretty much only games that use the camera as a side feature. Model: CTR-001 3DS (2011)

if there's anyone who has not yet responded to this, please help!

other information:
In camera app, makes the app extremely slow, and does not show outer camera.
in other apps (like ACNL or Mii maker, mostly apps that use the camera as a small side feature) it works normally
I did a factory reset to no avail.
Inability to mod my 3DS
have to POWER OFF 3DS after camera app opens for the 3DS to work (hold power for 12 second)
