Have you ever seen this problem before?

I am worried that this might be related to scratch search also being down. I also remember last year (October or November) scratch went down for an updates. when I used search, it was broken and hasn't been fixed to today.

This claims that scratch is aware about it, but they haven't fixed anything yet

in the meantime, you can use Turbowarp, a mod of scratch which has working cloud variables among other things

It kinda isn't misinformation. I have experienced my cloud variables reverting to the saved project version since late 2023. I wish that the Scratch team would address this by now.

I was planning for a game that uses cloud variables, and update a game to have cloud multiplayer, but it's delayed due to this bug.

Voxalice is actually wrong when he said “it affects everybody”. Since new Scratchers can't use cloud variables, it only affects Scratchers, and the vast majority of people on Scratch are Scratchers, so it affects 99.999999% of people on Scratch. Almost everybody is affected by this.

That’s not the same problem though.
The current problem is that the cloud server does not exist.
Your problem can be fixed by renaming the cloud variables (when they come back of course!)

Cloud Variables sometimes work, sometimes they don't. It happens randomly, it also might be because you have too many tabs open or something running in the background that is doing a lot, like a lot, which doesn't allow the variables to work.
