How can I give a sprite a transparent background?
So, this gif has a transparent background. But when I import it into scratch, it gives it a white background. Any way I can give it a transparent background in scratch?

Just use the fill tool and the transparent colour in the selection tool is white with a diagonal red line trough it.

I tried erasing around the sprite, but that didn't work. How do you do it? This would help me a lot.

Instead of erasing around the sprite, convert the editor to bitmap, select the bucket tool, then change the color to transparent, which is at the bottom left of the color picker and has a white box with a red line through it. Use it on the image, and it will get rid of the color that you used it on.

If you're talking about the transparent color, it looks roughly the same as in 2.0, but the red line is a bit more orange. It's at the bottom left of the color picker with hue, saturation, and brightness. can someone show me a project on how to get it?
