Can't search up and games sorta confused why

The search feature has been really glitchy off and on the past few days, this is an issue for everyone. It will hopefully be fixed soon.

I've been dealing with the same thing. I'm pretty sure this is a glitch, and hopefully will be fixed soon.

I cant even search the memes I made

Today i have been trying to look for my favorite games and animations on scratch, but i see no search results. Not even a text that says “Nothing found”. Might the servers on scratch be down? Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks.

In technical terms, it's repeatedly giving a 503 error (first byte timeout), so my best guess is that their Content Delivery Network (CDN) is encountering some technical issues.

It is a glitch in Scratch. It's up sometimes and down others, which is a sign the ST is working on it

Scratch's search engine is currently broken. All we can do is wait for it to be fixed.
Unfortunately, no one knows when it will be fixed or how to fix it.
This bug affects everyone on Scratch, so the Scratch Team is aware of it.

To work around this bug, you can type "site:scratch.mit.edu (search query)" into a search engine like Google.
