like i don't know how to replicate but i had like a bitmap sprite that was vector before and when you reload the website it stays also you can erase it and also the costume in the costume editor can't move

also if you switch to bitmap then vector again then it's fine

It might be easier to take a look into the project revision history if possible. Do you have a link to the project where this happened?

no that's not a glitch. it might spawn in a weird place and you have to move it

My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 132.0.0.0, No Flash version detected
Reproduction steps:

• Create a vector image
  
• Make a vector shape
  
• Change the color
  
• Without exiting the color dropdown, start resizing the shape
  
• The selection box appears on the stage.
  

However, this is just temporary, as it changes back when the mouse is released. To keep it glitched, do this:

• While still dragging the costume
  
• Right click
  
• Without exiting the context menu, switch to another costume this is not necessary
  

After that, sometimes it can be deselected and sometimes it stays glitched out

Not just their project is affected, it's happened to me multiple times, so i found out what to do when it happens.
From what i know this can't happen in Bitmap or you can undo it, so I usually just undo, but sometimes i go to other costumes and don't realize this bug happens, and so there's pretty much no way to fix it then, other than bitmapping it or remaking the costume.
I don't encounter this glitch often so I don't think it would be a site-breaking issue or anything like that, but more of an incovinience or annoyance if i have to say due to there being no reversable way, i just hope this gets fixed eventually though.

How the heck did I not notice this before…
