The eternal ordeal in hollow knight.

i play cry of fear pretty often and there are a lot of easter eggs and references.

some of my favourites:

• at the beginning of the game, theres a tiny little picture of a comedian that you have to press E on for about 100 times, and if you do it; theres a message saying “CONGRATULATIONS! You got DAVE BENSON PHILLIPS!”. pretty funny lol
  

• theres also one you can find a literal easter egg and simon (ur character) says “Very funny… an easter egg.”

There's one in Bug Fables that references Hollow Knight. In Chomper Cave, there's a fairly hidden room with a nail (The Hollow Knight kind, not the building kind) stuck in a rock.
