Another thing is that even if some shops did merge with tgs, we have to know whether the employees are trustworthy. Like, I'm not gonna name anyone, but there are shops that have employees with a, let's say… questionable reputation

Seriously now though. That could cause problems. The shop owners would probably want to keep some level of power, which unless they're trustworthy, is not really possible.

we could just fire them, since they were now under The Glow Shop. Even if they were terrible at y'know, actually doing stuff, we could hire them as a marketing officer and tell em to go advertise.

The trick is to go to a struggling shop, then market the idea. The struggling owner will have two choices. Let their shop rot away in the depths of the requests forum, or join the Glow shop, a bustling marketplace.
