Sometimes I recieve a message, however it's actually a message I got from a few minutes/hours ago.
Anyone experiencing this?

When someone comments on my profile and I get a notification, but then my profile just starts loading forever so I have to wait a few hours to be able to reply to it…

…I guess I should consider having a message that literally says 0 a ghost message
A scratcher: *logs in to their account*
Scratch servers:
(yamete kudasai) SEND HIM A MESSAGE NOTIFICATION BUT NOT AN ACTUAL MESSAGE
The scratcher that logged in to their account a few picoseconds ago: *recieves message notification*

its way easier to just go to the profile and then just scroll down to messages for me, sometimes the message isn't there so I just reload it.

꒰ Sometimes when you have multiple tabs open, and then get a message, it appears in all of the tabs, and then you answer the message(s) in one tab, it still stays in the other, then you stay on the tab you answered the message on, work on stuff for a while, then switch to the other tab, “Oh, it looks like I have a message!” but it just didn't get that you answered the messages. Reloading your tab with the “ghost messages” should fix that.

Can replicate: I've been getting these for weeks, and they're really annoying.
My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 14541.0.0, Chrome 131.0.0.0, No Flash version detected
Probably a server issue.
Edit: I got another one while typing this

I've been suspecting a server issue as the cause of this bug. Lately I started ignoring them, as I found they usually disappear once you go to another 2.0 page. So, if you see a message and after a few 2.0 pages (or you go to the homepage) and the message doesn't disappear, it's likely you got a real message.
edit=you now apparently get two messages and I just got them right before I clicked this.
