PROLOGUE The tale of Kaj from many (15) years ago is told to the viewer in the form of a sort of legend that nobody in the present day knows. Also included in this is the fact that Scratch Team created Scratch Cat as a mascot (protagonist) after this. Cut to present day:

EXPOSTION Scratch Cat wakes up ready to go to the costume library w/ friends. His relations to the characters (thinking of Gobo like a little brother, looking up to Nano) are established. Scratch Cat is seen as hating mistakes (almost like anxiety)

RISING ACTION On the way to the Forums HQ from CL, they start to notice the bugs. It's small at first but soon they see many users talking about their friends getting perma-banned by them (and perhaps this is on TV too)

RISING ACTION Seeing how they're portrayed in the media, the protagonists immediately think it's Scratch Team's fault for all the bugs. They set out for the Scratch HQ.

RISING ACTION On the way to Scratch HQ, Nano says to Scratch Cat (after some sort of related action) that mistakes are OK and you learn from them. (Perhaps they camp overnight or something?) Some sort of buildup to getting to Scratch HQ like it's going to be the end.

RISING ACTION They arrive at Scratch HQ. But instead of ST being lazy like everyone said, they're shown to be more nuanced than that. They have personal lives and other things that keep them from doing whatever the people want. ST member says after some coaxing the tale of Kaj and that he's making the bugs. But then bugs attack the Scratch HQ. Nano is banned by a bug.

CLIMAX The protagonists go to the Banlands to fight Kaj. Scratch Cat is kept down by Nano's loss, and this causes him to feel weak. This means that Gobo must also learn to stand by himself instead of relying on Scratch Cat. (Maybe they could also see Nano represented as a ghost here because he's banned?)

FALLING ACTION Regaining hope and realising it's never too late to learn from mistakes Scratch Cat fights Kaj. He realises Kaj has more reason to be afraid of them than they do for Kaj. But realising not forgiving ST's actions was what made Kaj the way he is, Scratch Cat resolves to give Kaj a second chance when he's almost down. He offers to speak to ST about Kaj's ban.

FALLING ACTION Because Kaj is so devoid of this kind of thinking, he rejects this offer and goes into hiding, not understanding why Scratch Cat did what he did. The bugs all dissapear after this. Protagonists go home as changed people.

RESOLUTION Life continues on for the protagonists, ST gets better public attention because of this, but still no sign of Kaj. He soon becomes a sort of urban legend. Eventually after 6 months he sends a letter to Scratch team saying he was sorry for what he said 15 years ago and he'd accept a second chance.
