So why is it when I search Scratch basically doesn't even try to search when I type anything. So it's like

say [Searching...]
Don't search
end

its annoying

and also when I just want to find a good remix

"That's good enough"
end

the internet:

when green flag clicked
forever
set [remix] to (changing one thing)

broadcast [ That's good enough]

As @2016s4m29 helpfully stated, Scratch's search engine is currently broken, and all we can do is wait for it to be fixed.
Unfortunately, no one knows when this will be fixed or how to fix it.
This affects everyone on Scratch, so the Scratch Team is aware of the situation.

For now, you can type "site:scratch.mit.edu (search query)" into a search engine like Google to work around this bug.

This also affects the Explore page, since that's internally based on Scratch's search engine.

Ummm… guys? I think the search bug has been fixed for me, I just searched up platformer today and results started to show up
