personally I use pirouette on turns when I don't have enough TP for hypnosis so that I'm able to progress the fight a bit more often

edit: using pirouette on the second turn reduces Jevil's defense so that could be useful for violence

Are you going peaceful for the Jevilstail, or do you not care what item you get?

If you don't care, I recommend the following:

-First turn- All defend to build up TP.

-Second turn- have Kris ACT Pirouette, it lowers Jevil's defense. Susie and Ralsei defend.

-Attack. Defend with Kris and Ralsei and use Rude Buster with Susie, unless your TP is above 90. If it it above 90, attack with Kris as well.

-If someone is somewhat low, rather than using an item, have Ralsei cast Heal Prayer.

-The optimal food layout is 1 Revivemint, 1 Topcake, and 8 Darkburgers. The Topcake can be obtained by having Malius fix the Broken Cake key item, and you can find a Revivemint

-Only use your Topcake if everyone is below 25 HP.

-Save your Revivemint for Susie. Kris shouldn't be down unless you've badly messed up, and Ralsei will be down in 2 hits if you waste the Revivemint on him.

If the fight goes on long enough without Jevil dying (and I assume his health is fairly low), he will become tired as if you ACTed Hypnosis a lot. Killing him grants the Devilsknife weapon (ax for Susie) and sparing him grants the Jevilstail (armor which is best for Ralsei or possibly Noelle on a normal route, remember to take it back before she leaves)

I'm also struggling on Jevil, thanks for this! I'm going to try this strategy today.
