Creating a new Scratch account with new update

My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.15.6, Safari 15.6, No Flash version detected

Hi! I'm not quite sure if this is the best place to ask this, and if this counts as a bug/glitch, but…
I'd like to make a new Scratch account. I've done this occasionally before, but because of the recent update, Scratch needs a parent account to confirm.
However, when I wanted to create a new account before, Scratch always provided an extra link for confirmation in the confirmation email in the old system, but now, for some reason there isn't a backup confirmation link sent to the parent account, instead, there is just a big button that is supposed to confirm the same way. Unfortunately, apparently the whole email looks like a screenshot, so the button is pretty much useless and doesn't lead to a link. Is this just me, or are there other people who've gone through the same thing/ is it a glitch? How can I fix this?

Hello, Robin!

If I understand correctly; when I created an account for roleplaying, it had no extra link, only the button. If the button doesn't work, however, I recommend contacting the Scratch Team. The button worked for me.

Are you using mobile? I've had problems with mobile before.

Scratch team forgot to add the "Having trouble? Copy this link to your browser instead: https://scratch.mit.edu/accounts/email_verify/DHDFU…" text for the account under 16 confirmation email.

I'm using an iPad I'll try contacting the scratch team! Hopefully that'll help…
