I fear when it happens

Well, there's no official release date.

All we know is that the Scratch Team will likely start working on it sometime this year (2025), but beyond that we don't know much. It will likely be several years until it is released.

If it comes out, idk what kind of features are there

2029 or 2028 i think

I think Scratch 3.0 has been existing a long time, so in the future, someday it will end and release the 4.0 ver, but 3.0 will still exist despite the end of it…

It's worth mentioning there yet continues to be rumors that Scratch 4.0 will release in 2025 because of the given time gap between the previous versions (Scratch 2.0 in 2013, then five-six years later Scratch 3.0 in 2019, etc) However, according to my knowledge, there is no official confirmation of Scratch 4.0, and I'm sure that we will obtain more information about it as updates come out.

I wouldn't worry about it as it probably is not going to happen for a bit. In case you are worried about the import of your projects being altered with Scratch 4.0, (or if you simply don't want to use it), you can download the current version of Scratch 3.0 here and download your projects to your local drive.

It's not coming in 2025. Anyone saying it is is wrong.

The Scratch Team is planning to start development of a major update this year (2025), according to a PDF on the jobs page that may be large enough to be a major version, however it's also possible that it will simply be a big update to 3.0.

No one knows, not even the Scratch Team.

Scratch 4.0 is supposed to start development this year, but its release date is still a mystery.

Let's wait for more information on Scratch 4.0 before trying to find out when it will release.
