Spam with exploits
Many famous scratchers including @Griffpatch 's comments have been constantly shut down due to people either hacking or using exploits to comment faster than the normal limit. This crashes the comments and automatically shuts it down. Is there any way people can make the spam stop?

Spam with exploits
Many famous scratchers including @Griffpatch 's comments have been constantly shut down due to people either hacking or using exploits to comment faster than the normal limit. Is there any way people can make the spam stop?Being theoretical here, Scratch can make a system for scratchers (mostly popular ones) which will detect high amounts of comments in a given time window and stop the spam.
Being normal here, sideyard thinks that you should just manually delete them.

No, you'll have to wait for the Scratch Team to fix these exploits.
In the meantime, you can report these exploits using Contact Us, since it doesn't seem like they should be reported publicly. Also, please report spam comments when you see them.

How will it “stop the spam”? By turning off the comments? And how are “popular” scratchers defined? Many famous scratchers including @Griffpatch 's comments have been constantly shut down due to people either hacking or using exploits to comment faster than the normal limit. However, you can always report the spamming to the Scratch Team via Contact Us, or report the comments.

What's popular defined as? What's considered a high amount, and what should the given time be? Personally, I know that they've commented @a but that method can be easily fixed- @a could be added to the blacklist.
This is gearing towards the Suggestions forum though, so if you have ideas for this system, feel free to talk about it on the suggestions forum

I think this question has been answered satisfactorily, so I'll ask for it to be closed.

“popular” scratchers are scratchers with a high follower count and a high ammount of commentsWhat's popular defined as? What's considered a high amount, and what should the given time be?
