This would help in a situation where you report a post, and the person who made the post edits it to not be inappropriate, leading to you getting a false report notification.

I'm pretty sure the Scratch Team would be able to see the old version of the post from when you reported it. If not, then whoever sees the report could notice that the post was edited after you submitted the report.

What if a user shared personal information, realized that they shouldn't share it, and then edited it to remove the personal information? Wouldn't it be easier to not show it at all instead of it being accessible via edit history until someone reports it?
Yeah. It happens a lot. If this was added, I could definitely name at least one person that would get their exact location revealed. Big no support.
Whoever created the post could report it and ask for the old revision(s) to be deleted in that case, though I feel like that would be difficult to moderate. There could be a report button next to each revision too.

I can see how it would be useful, but..

1- Someone might have posted incorrect info and edited it to be cut out, if edit history was there then users could see incorrect info & maybe believe it
2- ‘Reserved’ shop posts rely on editing to function and having a history function for these types of posts is a bit unnecessary
3- Edit history can take up a lot of space on the page if the post is long
4- Old cringey posts retain cringeyness even if they're edited

For the third point, it could just bring you to a page with all of the different revisions that aren't deleted (like with wikis). Do you mean storage space?
