Recently came upon some messages on a users project where they referred to me as “Blue”. They preceded to say some very not nice things about me. It’s making me quite upset.

I have talked to my parents and have tried to get into contact with the Scratch Team via YAB and Contact Us, and am currently awaiting a response from both, but it just keeps going. I reported all the comments but they are still there.

So I’m wondering. Is it allowed for someone to be talking about me, “Blue sucks” “I don’t like Blue”, without saying my name.

I know it’s me, because they refer to and link to a studio I made and say “Blue made this”.

Can someone help?

That shouldn't be allowed. If someone was talking to you that way, that would violate “Treat everyone with respect.” and keeping the site friendly in the community guidelines, even if it's a nickname or anything like that

Anyway, even if they were talking about another Scratcher, this would still not be allowed if they were saying stuff like the original poster described (I haven't seen the messages, but yea)

Since you've already contacted the Scratch Team, there's unfortunately nothing left to do but continue reporting disrespectful content while waiting for a response.

In general, gossip is not allowed on Scratch, so I'd say that Contact Us is the right thing to do. Note that response times may be a little longer than usual due to the holidays.

Just report and move on, since that is very clearly gossip. Don't worry about it and do something fun instead
