⛔ Important Bugs:

• The “Hi. Try out our new feature” tool-tip for the new “Set Thumbnail” button freezes the site. To fix it, press an arrow key or try out the new feature.
  

• Sometimes when going to a comment from a link or messages, it takes forever to load, however you can:
  1. Go to the profile and find your comment.
  2. Hard reset Ctrl+F5 (Command+F5).
  3. Reload page a bunch of times.
  4. Delete browser history. (If you need to do this)
  5. Delete cookies and reload. (You will be signed out but sign back in) (if you need to do this)
  6. If it didn't work repeat the steps.
  

✏️ Editor Bugs:

• Some reporters are aligned incorrectly. Lists are aligned to the left, and custom block boolean inputs are aligned to the right.

• When switching the rays backdrop to bitmap then back to vector, it crashes. source
  
  
• There's a small gap between block dropdowns. source
  
• When putting a reporter in a color input and undoing, the color input disappears. source

• This bug after choosing a sprite where it still shows the “choose a sprite” tooltip.
  
  
• When you try to delete a sprite at the bottom, the pop-up goes off the screen.
  
  

⚙️ Technical Bugs:

• Scratch's cloud variable monitor doesn't work, and neither do the variables themselves. This is because what clouddata.scratch.mit.edu (Scratch server link) is pointing to, there is still DNS but no ping.

• You can go to any site in the post preview (the button), this is because it is an iframe (embed), which should be fixed.
  
• Next function does not work on https://scratch.mit.edu/accounts/login/ when you log in with a next function (e.g. ?next=/mystuff/) it does not work.

• 2.0 pages shows you have a new message but you don't. (Sometimes it shows the largest amount you got in that day) source

❗️ A: The project.json file cannot exceed 5 MB, this means the code, info about sprites and assets, and any list values, no asset (sound, costumes) cannot exceed 10 MB.

you need to add that the new scratcher to scratcher slideshow does not work - in the new scratcher to scratcher slideshow, you are taken to a slideshow of the community guidelines where you get stuck on the “Scratchers treat everyone with respect.” section but can't progress.

this bug means no new scratchers at the moment can become scratchers.

Actually, it does work, the button is just invisible.

It's still a bug as it's not supposed to be invisible.

Depending on your screen size the sprite deletion confirmation may go off the screen and you may have to zoom out to see the buttons. I'll see if I can replicate this and give an image. (Might take a while because the bug first happened on my school Chromebook and I'm on Christmas break.)

Not just that, but cloud variables in general are broken. Try going onto blockbit or one of griffpatch's cloud projects. It will not work.

Firefox has worse performance when running scratch projects, however, you can always try fixing NextDNS. source
