This could let you make a sprite any colour! I hate that they removed this, and it was in Scratch 1.x!

This can be achieved by doing:However, it can have unpredictable results- only do that if you just need a desaturated sprite, not one that looks accurate.set [color] effect to ((1) / (0))
Enjoy!

This can be achieved by downloading @minikiwigeek2 's logo and basing your colors off of that. (Note this will only work with Scratch Cat)

I don't mean turning the sprite/stage just black or just white like the brightness effect does, I mean making it greyscale, which means you can still see all the details, but without colour, only in black and white.
set [color v] effect to ((1) / (0))

Did you even test it out?I remember people stating that it doesn't give a greyscale effect for certain browsers, but I don't know where, or what browsers didn't do the greyscale.

This is useful for getting a full custom color for a sprite

Bump because dupe. -100 should be no saturation (grayscale), and 100 should be max saturation.

Yes, I did.snipDid you even test it out?
Seriously, it's not perfect or reliable, and you can either have the sprite completely saturated or desaturated, but not between the two.

set [color v] effect to ([1] / [0])is a grsyscale effect, but not an accurate one. If you just need it to be grayscale but not accurate, use that.
