What do the joke loading screens mean?
So on scratch, on every loading screen, there will sometimes be funny loading message, like “Inflating gobos” or “herding cats,” but, what do any of them actually mean?
Sorry for short post I don't know anything else to add

They really are just jokes. No special meaning behind them or anything. They are just jokes.

just to clarify, none of the project loading messages actually correspond to the thing the project is currently loading, instead it randomizes the message every few seconds for some reason.

“Herding cats” is a joke because it's generally very difficult to get cats to go anywhere (that you want them to, and they don't). If you try to force them they just scratch you.
You can't inflate the kind of cactus that Gobo is named after, so that's probably just a joke.

Probably just a reference to the bouncy, colorful, almost “inflatable” design of the characters. “Herding cats” is a joke because it's generally very difficult to get cats to go anywhere (that you want them to, and they don't). If you try to force them they just scratch you.
