It is commonly believed that a major update to Scratch will come out in 2025 due to the evenly spaced amount of time between the previous updates. However, the “evenly spaced” time between updates is just a coincidence. The possibly of a Scratch 4.0 was first mentioned in November 2024 with developing new features for the update being a priority in 2025, but this does not guarantee that it will be released in 2025.

anyways, this probably counts as a guide and I don't believe scratch likes those here
