Alternative Game Engines Similar to Scratch?
I want to expand my game-making skills, so I want to try and use a game engine that isn't Scratch, but is still similar, (as in, it still uses visual scripting/drag and drop/block-based/node-based programming).
If it doesn't use any of the types of coding above, it would be fine if the game engine requires some written programming, as long as its simple
It's ok if the engine only does 2D, and I would also prefer if it had a tile-based building system for levels and such.
So if anyone knows of any game engines that follow these requirements, please let me know of them below!

Scratch is a language, not an engine.
Although GameMaker and Snap are similar to Scratch.

Does GameMaker have drag-and-drop, block-based, and/or node-based programming?

What do you mean by Scratch's being “embedded”?

It is rumored that GTA VI was made partially using ScratchJr, but Rockstar has not confirmed it yet.All jokes aside
I'd recommend the above.
Scratch JR can’t do nothing as its not a proper language
don’t wooosh me

To main OP:
Scratch is a game engine is the most common misconception
as there are other than games on scratch
but how about Snap or even BuildBox
some sites say Unity doesn’t require thta much code but that’s incorrect
if you want to make a game you need lines of code I mean text in Unity
What do you mean by Scratch's being “embedded”?its when you iframe something on a website or whatsoever it is

I know what “embedded” means, but i didn't understand what GlitchedThrough meant when he said, “Appears to be node with Scratch’s embedded.”

Please don't necropost. Necroposting is when you reply to a very old topic, causing it to be bumped to the front page. Make a new topic asking the same question.when green flag clicked

oh boy here I go again with the the TURBOWARP
Turbowarp is basically advanced scratch, and it looks way better than snap.
It has tons of features, and extensions! It's basically block based JavaScript! You can use Js to make your own extensions too, with libraries like tensorflow, or anything else to do whatever you want!
Oh whoops didn't realize this was necropost
