Ban evading
Everyone says ban evading is against scratch policy but I can't find anything about it. Does anyone have proof its against the guidelines or something? **NOT SAYING I AM BAN EVADING**

Ban evading
The Terms of Use say this:
The Scratch Team also reserves the right to terminate any account used to circumvent prior enforcement of the Terms of Use.

Ban evading
Ban evading is against policy. I've experienced this on a few accounts at one point in time. If ST finds someone ban evading they will ban that alt. Continuing to evade it will lead to an IP ban. Ban evading
Ban evading means making a new account to get around a ban, and it's against Scratch's rules. While it might not be spelled out in one specific line, the community guidelines clarify that you should respect bans and not try to get around them. If you do, you could face more serious consequences, like getting IP banned.

Ban evading
Terms of Use say this:^ In addition to this, it's also reasonable to expect this rule to come from common sense. The Scratch Team bans people, not merely accounts, so if someone gets banned on Scratch, it's reasonable to assume that the Scratch Team would not be okay with them continuing to use Scratch on a different account. TheThe Scratch Team also reserves the right to terminate any account used to circumvent prior enforcement of the Terms of Use.
An analogy: If your name is Tom Smith and you get arrested for committing a crime, you can't just escape jail, legally change your name to Bob Johnson, and then claim that “Actually you arrested Tom Smith but now I am Bob Johnson so you can't arrest me.” Escaping jail is still a crime itself.

Ban evading
How could the ST tell if someone is ban evading? I mean it would be obvious if my name was BatmanSpiderman7648 and I put BatmanSpider7648ALT But if I put supercalifragilisticexpialidocious instead, could ST tell? Or is that a successful Ban evade and they could never tell?

For one thing, you use the same email, but ST doesn't check that TOO often. You might say something alluding to your previous account, or make a forum post about it. Ban evading
The ST can see your IP address, so if you're ban evading, they can tell you're on the same network.
