What does it mean when it pulls up a 'Our server is scratching its' head' prompt when updating a project's description
So I was preparing to post a project and adding one more thing to the instructions section and when I clicked off of the instructions and clicked share and it popped up a prompt over the instructions section, the classic
Whoops! Our server is ‘Scratch’ing its' headwhen I clicked off the page and back to the project the edit I had added to the intructions had been removed, I added it back and it worked fine. Has this ever happened to you? Do you know what this is about?

maybe the servers are being weird so you can't share your project

This happens if the server experienced an error while trying to complete the action. This can happen all the time, sometimes due to internet issues, maintenance, or just by random. Try retrying the action again and see if it works.

…no? The 404 error is This happens if the server experienced an error while trying to complete the action. This can happen all the time, sometimes due to internet issues, maintenance, or just by random. Try retrying the action again and see if it works.only for pages when they’re not found. Has nothing to do with bad internet.
OP - your question is impossible. 404 errors ONLY happen when trying to access new pages. You must’ve miscliekd something or typed in the search bar, or anything. But the instructions cannot throw an error, much less a 404 error.

(#6)Incorrect. This has happened to me quite a few times when editing descriptions, and it doesn't necessarily have to be a 404 error as you assumed.

The error shows up in an orange bubble next to the description, much like the bubble that shows up when a bad word is detected.
The simplest way to work around this is just to try saving the description again. It'll probably work then.

Yeah, I edited it again and it went through this time, I had been inputting the name of a character prefaced by saying that it was the character's full name as I had been referring to them by a nickname, the character is not a real person, but it's possible it got flagged as me putting up a real person's full name which is probably against the rules (I'm not sure, I haven't read the community guidelines in a while)

(#8)If that were the case, the bubble would say something about the bad word detector.

Getting an error like this seems completely different, especially since you were able to add the name to the description anyway.
I was eventually able to reproduce this glitch, and it seems to only occur when the description-editing HTTP request times out after ~2.3 seconds.
When that happens, the server responds with the following string, and a 401 (Unauthorized) status response code.
{"code":"Unauthorized","message":""}
