Why cant new scratchers post in forums???

The title. My friend has made an account on scratch recently but cant post on forums for some reason. Any explanation to this???

It takes a few days for New Scratchers to be able to post on the forums, as a spam prevention measure.
That's why the New Scratcher rank exists at all- spam prevention measure

It's five days after you confirm your email. I know this from testing.

It's a security measure. If they let trolls post on the forums right after they create their account, the risk of there being a troll posting inappropriate things goes up by a ton.

This was implemented at the end of November last year (not this year) because there was a troll who kept bypassing an IP block and the filter (this also had happened several times before), even for a word that hadn't been blocked on the forums at the time.

This wasn't a thing until recently, a few months ago (or was it a year? idk) there was a spammer who kept creating accounts, saying extremely inappropriate words. very, VERY inappropriate.

I've confirmed my email for one of my *MANY* roleplay accounts, @MShapemeister, long ago.
I still can't quite post. (it says an error when I tried)
