Can you get hacked?
Which is why it's important to have a strong password. Many/all of the accounts on Scratch that got “hacked” have just had their weak passwords guessed. only if you have a weak password

Well, yes. You can get hacked anywhere. The way to NOT get hacked is to use a strong password, and only share your password with your immediate family. Don't share your password with anyone else, especially if it's someone you don't know.

Yes but only if you share your password or you have a weak one like “Password” or “1234”

I don't think only if you have a weak password! Maybe, some shared it or the hackers somehow guessed it.

There actually have been. For example, a friend of mine has once been blocked because someone had sabotaged her account and changed her pfp(although she's since been unblocked)

Not really; Scratch needs robust security. Higher-tier accounts have been hacked on the most popular social media platforms, not to mention entire networks. So, it's much easier than you think. I frequently receive emails about login attempts and login success on my Sony account, but thankfully, those attempts have been blocked. Just imagine how easy it would be to hack an account. Not to mention I had a strong password. only if you have a weak password

mine has been but im using a alt account. and the scratch team has not been to helpful. person who took the account was changing everything on it so i rallied up a ton of scratchers and scared them of the account. Don’t share your password with anyone period. It should be between you and any religious figure you believe in, and the religious figure knowing is a bit iffy. Not even the ST can ever know it.So it’s kinda obvious what I’m asking about but can you get hacked on scratch?

Plenty of other ways. only if you have a weak password

This may be overkill for scratch, but its good for general passwords.
Do have a secure password, and change it once every few months or so. The password should have a diverse set of characters, Latin characters, Arabic numbers, emojis if possible, at least 8 characters long, maybe even other languages characters. Don’t make it your password, don’t make it one character repeating. Keep it to yourself. Don’t store it online, papercopies only, and make them sparse.

Yes.
Anywhere you have an account you can be hacked.
Strong passwords help prevent this, but it's still possible that hacker(s) get lucky and guess your password.

It is Really rare to get hacked on Scratch as there is no gain, all you get is someone's name and email address.
