Okay so,
About mabye 2-3 weeks ago, I went on itch io. I seen a game on there called “Incredibox - Sprunki” and my mind was like

“God, I could have sworn I seen this before…”

And so I click it.
After the loading screen I noticed it was a Scratch project, and then, I realized…

“How in god's name is a Scratch project suddenly popular everywhere?”

And then mabye a week later, I see Sprunki projects on Scratch's front page!
So like, whats going on with this mod? Why am I seeing so many Scratch projects about it?

Also when I clicked on some of them, they appear to be taken down.

Can anyone please explain to me whats going on with Scratch and Sprunki?

Sprunki was breaking Scratches community guidelines according to the people that mass reported it. SPRUNKI- includes blood and gore in the second phase and also included a hint to one of the characters committing “die himself”. Scratch is currently trying to take down projects related to Sprunki as Sprunki is probably on a blacklist now because it's blocked on the search bar. In fact it's gotten so bad to the point where the OG creator of Sprunki (NyankoBFLol) got hacked and deleted over it. The reason why there are so many Scratch projects about Sprunki is because Sprunki got so popular to the point that fans just started to storm any projects made about it.

(btw the person that hacked NyankoBFLol is a very bad person)

It most likely blew up because of its lore and unique mechanic of changing in between scenes. That and it’s unique art style

Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to put projects with an insane amount of blood and gore on Scratch?
(I’ve never viewed a sprunki project, but still)

well the creator of sprunki made sprunki for fun they never knew it was going to be popular after it was popular, scratch team took down the project made by the creator of sprunki after that you get the story, brainrot happen the creator of sprunki has depression because of sprukri brainrot he also got hacked on his scratch account that's why it doesn't exist anymore, in short sprunki project originated from scratch, the reason why it get's taken down was because blood and violence which means it broke the community guidelines of scratch

It is typical 8 year old behavior because Scratch is meant for 8 year olds. All types of content MUST be appropriate for 8 year olds.

No, it's like banning people from saying FNaF. Yes, the series can be very dark at times, but people innocently mentioning that they like it or having a conversation that follows the CG about it is fine.

Nope Sprunki can be quite dark at times (such as FNaF) but If someone was talking (like this) about it or why it's not good for Scratch or anything that follows the CGs that contains the word sprunki shouldn't be completely banned from saying.
