The Japanese-language locked version costs 49,980 yen and the Japanese multi language system costs 69,980 yen. Launch titles include Mario Kart World and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

I think that it's going to be a really terrible and overexpensive switch that takes the Iphone route and makes the screen like a centimeter bigger

Seriously? But with every console they've made it always comes so far. I don't care that it runs 2 FPS slower than the average console, gaming standards are a little ridiculous nowadays, in my opinion.

Hopefully there's going to be backwards compatibiltiy, but from what I've seen from other companies, I worry that there's going to be that annoying “limited compatibility” thing.

backwards compatibility was confirmed by Nintendo in a shareholders meeting

It was recently announced. According to the trailer, there is backwards compatibility, but it said that certain games weren't (I have no idea what that means yet though)

Games that used the IR sensor. Its fine if you wirelessly pair your original Joy-Cons wirelessly to the system. The same can't be said for most Nintendo Labo, which will be completely incompatible.
