Allow banned users to see more pages

If the person gets banned for sharing an inappropriate project, they shouldn’t be able to make projects during the ban.

This should also not apply to perm bans where you can’t appeal, because they can’t use Scratch anymore.

I agree, however you should still be able to download your unshared projects.

I heard from somewhere that the purpose of bans was to not only protect the community but to also discipline the banned user and encourage to not do what they did again, explaining why my stuff page does not work when you are banned.

However, discipline is not ST's business. The parents are the responsible ones for that.

And that's why,

They shouldnt be able to share projects, they should still be able to make them.

As the owners of the Scratch website, the Scratch Team has control over who gets to use their website. Rules of a household do not necessarily align with the Scratch Community Guidelines.

Support I was temporarily banned and I couldn’t tell the scratch team that my unban time was terrible

Yeah, that's what I was thinking with this. I wonder if unconfirmed accounts not being able to do anything would make implementing this easier.

I'm curious what happens if you have shared projects with an unconfirmed email. Might see if I can test on an alt.

Edit: It seems like changing your email is different from setting it the first time. I had no restrictions on sharing or anything.

Another thing I discovered: Banned users can change their password by using password reset.

Exactly; an online service has the right to decide what content they will host.
