Hi. I saw somewhere that Scratch will be hacked on December 7th, 2024. And those hackers will Mass Report every single project. The project said to:
1. Unshare all of your projects.
2. Turn of comments.
3. Change your password.

Is this true, and should I follow these steps? If I don't get a reply by the end of the day, I will follow the steps just to be safe. Thanks

Probably not true. Changing your password is a good thing to do every so often regardless of events, and the other stuff isn't necessary. If you want you can turn off profile comments, but there's not a big risk and they're probably just trolls.

Nope, those are just rumors and such an event will not be happening.

No, it's not. Scratch will not be “hacked” by any “hackers”. The most the average scratch “hacker” can do is guess passwords of insecure accounts, which is why a strong password is important.
