It's a forum joke where a kumquat (type of fruit) will “eat” your signature.

It's basically a joke started by @Cheddargirl* about how an Evil Kumquat eats signatures

No, really - it's a fruit. It's a joke on the forums when @cheddargirl* changed their signature and replaced it with “my signature got eaten by an evil kumquat.”
