Project statistics

Scratch could greatly benefit from incorporating a statistics feature. This feature would include a dedicated statistics button that users can click on to access a detailed overview of their project’s performance over time.

When the button is clicked, it would display some interactive graphs illustrating various metrics, such as the number of likes, favorites, and comments a project has received. Additionally, it could track other engagement metrics, like the number of views or remixes.

By providing this historical data, users could better understand how their projects resonate with the community. This insight would not only help creators evaluate their work but also encourage them to adjust their future projects based on audience engagement trends. Overall, a statistics feature would foster a more dynamic and engaging creator experience on Scratch.

The statistics screen should have the following graphs:
  • Number of likes and faves
  • How many views a project has received
  • How popular your project is versus your other projects' stats combined
  • Hiw many scratchers clicked and scrolled away from your projects
  • Way more ideas that I can't think about

On top of this, how would scrolling away be calculated? What would be the specific time frame?

most of these are already on the project page, except they are not in graph form. Also there's already a page for these, they're just not in Scratch.

they're trolling, north korea has an isolated network called kwangmyong, and scratch isn't available on that network.
