So everyone's a follower of kaj, but can you make kaj follow you?

Why does everybody talk about the number 1337? Unless “1337 was a common year starting on Wednesday of the Julian calendar”, I don't know what it is.
Well, we could probably come up with a theory like one of those Scratch-NSA ‘paddle2see is illuminati’ things. I think it just spells leet.

By any chance is 1337 the followers of kaj? If so I am one of them (27th follower of kaj)

Ahh, I see now. Leet is an alternative internet alphabet. Wikipedia says: "The term leet is also used as an adjective to describe formidable prowess or accomplishment, especially in the fields of online gaming and in its original usage – computer hacking."
So that is why it is popular in the Advanced Topics forums!

I think ATers need something better to do than the 1337 hax0r club anyway.

Yeah indeed, most are about Kaj and hacking and all 1337 hax0r stuff.. right. but how are you/we/whoever gonna reduce the amount of 1337 hax0r topics?

a better way to spend the time would be to actually make leet things instead of proving we're leet

I already made ApuC and some extensions, along with some parts of MSU (actually, most of MSU).

I'm sure the person who made it, made it as a joke.

Not cool man, not cool. Commenting on some old troll's profile really means a lot to some people. "have hacked themselves onto" Uhh, sending POST requests to an existing is not hacking. I'm sorry, but people who don't understand what hacking is, really wind me up. Like the people who think that guessing a easy password is ‘hacking’… -_-

Why would they block the API? Commenting on projects and that stuff doesn't even require the API. Application Programming Interfaces are used for developing applications or sites that need to fetch data from the site, like OpenSprites. The ST wouldn't block the API because the ScratchBlocks converters needs it, and jvvg gets on well with the ST.

I also agree it was not cool, but I say that posting comments actually is hacking. Hacking is simply getting computers to do what you want in a particularly clever/interesting/efficient. Hacking by itself is not malicious. (I mean the st had no policy on commenting on deleted users before.. *ahem*)

I made a case to paddle2see and he disagreed. Because of *ahem* now commenting on deleted users will probably be disabled. My advice: get comments in while you can. I'm sorry st but I'm really hurt by your decision. Feel free to remove the preceding statement if it suits you.

Note: the entire api will not be disabled. Just commenting on deleted users.

ehh it seems like everyone hates me now for doing this

but the code might get out to do it, and people might start posting inappropriate stuff on there where the mods can't get them…
sorry again

It kind of is hacking.
…and I was one of the people to hack a comment onto there, I should know.

and please don't attack me like that, it makes me uncomfortable

I made a poem to document this legendary event, full to the brim with near-rhymes and idioms that don't make any sense…

EDIT: shoot, that didn't come out right. Here's the newer version:
