So this is like just a random question I've had on my mind but like, what gender is scratch cat? I've heard some people say that they're a girl, some people say they're a dude, and I'm curious now, or even if they HAVE a gender. someone pls answer this question has been bugging me and idk why

They are generally considered gender neutral. They however can have any gender if you have them in a project, however. It's up to you

Scratch is meant for people to be creative and imagine whatever they want, so I would assume none of the characters have a canon gender.

Scratch Cat has no gender, because it's just a set of images to use in projects. You pretty much decide the answer to this question yourself in your projects.

according to scratch wiki they are non-binary (which is cool) but many people, including ST members, use he/him pronouns for them

Eh, most of the realistic ones have somewhat “visible” genders (as in they look like a boy or a girl). I think they were referring to ones like Gobo or Pico.
