it would be cool, also desktop buddies kinda surged again during the COVID lockdown and they're still used by many people today

also kde was bundled with my distro, and it works with my flow + i can't be bothered to switch to another desktop like GNOME or a WM

I believe on Windows you can set a folder icon to look like any image you upload. so you can upload a scratch cat and that folder will display a scratch cat.
